Great story

suddenly when i am enjoying songs at my brother's room, with his laptop here, and remind me with a great story i've heard at vihara Ekayana.. :)
its a story about karma maybe.. that's what i got..
there was a little boy that was sooo poor.. he didn't have anything to eat, and he was soo hungry..
he decided to ask some rice from house to house..
when he reached a house, and an old lady out from her house, and asked what did he want?
and this little boy suddenly didnt have the gut to ask rice..
and finally he asked for some drinks only..
and the old lady got into her house, get a cup of milk for this little boy..
the old lady said, "u must be very hungry right..?"
and the little boy finished it as fast as he could as he was soo hungry, and he said "i dunt know how to repay all this to u.."
and the old lady answered, "my mother taught me to help the people who need it while we still can.. and never ask for a repay.."

a few years past... this old lady got a mysterious disease..
and needed a very great docter.. she went to city, and looked for a docter that could cure her odd disease..
and she got an information that there was a docter could cure her disease..
she went to the hospital, and finally, got cure..
she's got a healthy body now, and free from the disease..
but now the problem is that she didnt even have money to pay the docter and the hospital fee..
when the docter was going to pay a visit to his patient, he saw that old lady.. and suddenly went to the administration to ask for her bill..
he told that employee to put the bill to his room..
after that, he gave back the bill to that employee, and the employee gave the bill to that old lady..
when she received that letter, she was so afraid to open it..
she knew that she wouldnt have enough money to pay back, but finally she decided to open the letter..
and something attracted her attention, and it was written "paid by a glass of milk" on the left top of the letter..
the old lady was crying loudly there..

this story teaches me that to help a person doesn't depend on how much material or how big we have done for that person.. it all depends on ur heart, and never ask for a repay.. even when u step out the door, helping a kitten, as long as u have the heart, it can be a huge help the kitten needed..
